Lately, I’ve been recording my dreams as they have been frequent and vivid. There is one tiny aspect of a dream that astonished me for its absolute clarity and its awe-inspriing impression that it has left upon me. Essentially, the dream spoke to me, as clear as day I heard the words uttered in the wispy haze of the dream; and this is completely uniqe, for I have never heard audible words spoken in my dreams, particularly one with such a strange phrase. After I had woken I was so determined to define one of the words spoken, for I must have read it, maybe even heard it, but I did not know what it was. The word was obviously English, anglo-saxon, and I wanted to know what the word meant; the word was “pillory”, and this is what was said as if the person was in the same room as I, but the cryptic phrase has left me bewildered.

A wanton boy, yes, that I am, but its linking phrase, pillory in a heart, what on earth does that mean? What metaphorical jib does it claim?

People have become better writers on twitter. I’ve been on twitter for a year and this is something that I’ve noticed. This isn’t true for everybody, unfortunately LOL, but for a few it is, and it’s cool. Basically, they’re jokes are getting punchier, more clever, and in some instances, just making more sense.

I’ve mentioned this to @mothman not too long ago, but I also have a horrible tweet as my number one tweet: “I’m not racist but Canadians … ” which is a play on two ideas. First, racists try not to sound racist by prefacing their racism with “I’m not racist but . .;” then, the next point is stupid nationalism. One would be hard pressed to tell the difference between a Canadian and an American, so nationalism is stupid. Except for the fact that Canadians are pretty lame.

My own ‘Top Tweet’ I have also discovered since writing it, had been done before, not in the exact way, or as a tweet, but as a Yahoo Question and then a one panel comic by a cartoonist some time back. I WANT to delete it since finding that out, but the numbers on it are too cool, and it was MY tweet, just not MY joke. I didn’t even give it a lot of thought when I wrote it, and it doesn’t make sense. Noah SHOULD have known they were gay.
